Custom Cutter Designer

(May 2009 to September 2009, Supervised by: Prof. Puneet Tandon, IIITDM Jabalpur)

A concept was proposed by Mr. Rajik Khan (a PhD Student) about the designing of custom cutters mathematically. Under the kind supervision of Professor Punnet Tandon, I worked as a Project Associate for the project and Implemented the logic.

• Mathematical equations were parsed using an external library muParser
• Worked with standard IGES format for 3D model representation
• Project was funded by DST (Department of Science and Technology, Government of India)

Technology Used: Visual C++ with .NET framework, muParser
